We are not like everyone else. We are....
Creative
Building is a creative process. Having creative people is an absolute necessity. We have staff with BFA degrees that exhibit the highest level of creativity. But with this training, they are also natural craftsman and have the ability to think in three-dimensions. This unique skill set allows us to think like an architect, or designer, and like a builder – at the same time. This allows for seamless communication from the studio to the jobsite.
The other key to being a creative thinker is to be a creative communicator. We have the ability to explain concepts to others and help them understand what they might not be able to naturally see. We also have the training and talent to hand illustrate and computer render images to help further explain a concept.
Creativity is the backbone of our company.
Analytical
One of the secrets of our success is the ability to be creative and analytical at the same time. We employ natural problem solvers. These are people who can see how things go together. They also have the ability to make resolutions. Being analytical also benefits the accounting procedures. Having accurate records for each project is promised and assured with our open-book policy. Finally, the projects run by and meet a written schedule. Expectations to delivery dates are clearly and consistently communicated during the construction process.
Having the ability to think analytically keeps us
focused on meeting the expectations.
Technological
Everyone needs the right tools for the job. We maintain the most advanced in house technology to support our clients, our staff and our projects in the field. This includes organizational, accounting and scheduling software. We also use CAD and other visual-aid programs to help clients better understand what the final project could look like.
Keeping up with technology helps us to communicate with our clients.
Learner
We believe that you will be better tomorrow based on what you did yesterday and what you learned today. The construction industry is constantly changing and we need to maintain a state of readiness to learn. With advancements in tools, techniques, materials and fasteners there is always something new to research. We also have ever changing codes to keep up with. As well as trends in design and environment issues, like “green” building.
Investing in learning today makes us a better company tomorrow.
